SXSW '08: Castledoor, The Big Sleep and Longwave rock Filter magazine event Filter magazine's recent SXSW shindig saw a flurry of indie-rock luminaries, including L.A. faves Castledoor, shoegazers Longwave and more ... Castledoor are an L.A. favorite who play folky-psych music, The Big Sleep create delayed walls of guitar, building in repetition over solid grooves, and Longwave bring the shoegaze-influenced pop with more emphasis on vocals and melody.
