Chris Martin has been focusing on fatherhood for quite some time, and now he's ready to deliver the new Coldplay album, which was just endowed with a name.

Coldplay's fourth album, slated for a June 17 release, will be titled Viva la Vida, according to Rolling Stone. Chris Martin reportedly chose the title after seeing the phrase "long live life" on a painting by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. "She went through a lot of sh--, of course, and then she started a big painting in her house that said 'Viva la Vida,'" Martin told Rolling Stone. "I just loved the boldness of it." He may be right about the title, but there's a certain ex-Menudo member that also comes to mind.

"Everyone thinks it comes from Ricky Martin, which is fine. I have absolute respect,” says Martin, who gave Coldplay its original name, 'Pectoralz', and named his children Apple and Moses. "I’ve been through this before, naming something or someone and everyone saying that 'That’s a terrible name'. But then saying, 'Well, f--- you, that’s what it’s called, and I’ll be proved to be right eventually'. So when Viva la Vida came along, I was kind of annoyed because I’m going to have to try and convince everybody of this, but it just felt right."

There is no information yet on song titles or album artwork. However, Rolling Stone is also reporting that Coldplay will be giving studio session updates for Viva la Vida, and some insight into the tracks that will appear on the record.

Coldplay are also scheduled to play the first annual Pemberton Festival, July 25-27 in Pemberton, British Columbia. They'll join Nine Inch Nails, Death Cab For Cutie, The Flaming Lips, My Morning Jacket and more.
