Amy Winehouse Won't Face Charges Over Alleged Crack-Cocaine Video

After another round of troubles, Amy Winehouse has finally caught a break. The embattled Grammy-winning singer will not face charges over a video that allegedly showed her smoking crack cocaine, according to BBC News.

According to The Associated Press, Winehouse reportedly was questioned by London police for nine hours last week over the video, which surfaced online in January. Police had started investigating the tape, which apparently showed her smoking a crack pipe during a party at her London home, after British tabloid The Sun published stills from the video footage.

"Amy is pleased to be able to move on and concentrate on music and particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly awaited festival performances this summer," her spokesman Chris Goodman reportedly said in a statement,

Winehouse is set to perform May 30 at Rock in Rio in Lisbon, Portugal; July 4 at another Rock in Rio installement, in Madrid, Spain; July 12 at the Oxegen fest in Naas, Ireland; July 13 at T in the Park in Kinross, U.K.; and September 6 at the U.K.'s Bestival in Isle of Wight.

In more good news for the singer, London police also reportedly said a woman believed to be Winehouse wouldn't be charged after being arrested last week on suspicion of illegal-drug possession. British police don't reveal suspects' names if they haven't been charged.

Winehous was arrested seven days ago on suspicion of drug possession and turned herself in to authorities at a London police station in connection. It was hardly the singer's first problem with drugs, or her first run-in with the law. Late last month, she was arrested for suspicion of assault after being accused of head-butting a 38-year-old man outside a London pub.

She has made many other headlines as of late, from her hospitalization last August to a stint in rehab in January to big Grammy wins in February. Winehouse and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, were arrested in October for drug possession, and Winehouse was arrested another time in December on suspicion of attempting to interfere with a court case involving Fielder-Civil.

I hate the fact that people bullshit her because she does drugs, it isnt her fault, she was caught in the trap. All the greastest go off the rails at some point, it's just that it happens to Amy a little bit more than others.

I mean, look at the Rolling Stones, They were all on drugs, but they wern't made into public enemy #1, were they?!

Everyone leave her alone, she has go enough trouble in her life without evryone else getting involved!
